Fortis Advisors provides professional post-closing shareholder representative services for private M&A transactions. Our services allow shareholders to outsource the burden, responsibility and risk of serving as a shareholder representative. We manage and advise clients on all matters following the closing of an M&A transaction, including working capital and other purchase price adjustments, earn-outs and milestones, escrow claims, transaction distributions, tax reviews and dispute resolution.

Our team has over three decades of experience structuring, leading and negotiating private M&A transactions, as attorneys, accountants, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. Company History
Fortis Advisors was founded in 2011. In our first year of operation the company has been engaged for 63 transactions totalling $11 billion! Our founders' experience enables us to represent many of the nation's most prominent venture capital and private equity funds. Our success indicates we are serving an obvious market need. In our first year we have grown from three founders to 14 employees with more hiring underway!
