Job Description

Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.

The Technical Customer Support Specialist manages and maintains computer networks including gateways, routers, and other hardware from a centralized location. The responsibilities for this role further include supporting testing, deploying, and troubleshooting remote networks. Additionally, the role to ensures the functional performance and security requirements are satisfied. The role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Deploy and maintain wireless computer networks and related computing environments including system software, application software, hardware, and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot,diagnoseand resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
  • Leverage monitoring and observability tools to monitor and troubleshoot issues.
  • Leverage automation tools to support deployment andmaintenanceof network and system setting in scale.
  • Enhance automation through scripting to improve team functions and efficiency.
  • Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures

Background & Education:
  • BS in Computer Science, Information technology support, Networking or equivalent field

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • 3+ years of experiencein internet working experience with routers, switches, WAN, LAN, and other internet work technologies.
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Good knowledge of Python or other scripting language.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
  • Network security experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
  • Expertise in written and verbal communications.
  • Excellent time management and ability to deliver completed projects on deadline.

Expected salary range:
$88,480.00 - $139,100.00
